NRA First Steps Rifle Clinic
Introducing the CMP Rimfire Sporter game, CMP will sponsor a Non Sanctioned Clinic on March 13, 2010. Registration will begin at 7:00am with the class begining at 8:00am Dr. Lyddon will conduct a NRA First Steps Rifle Class for the .22 rimfire. The course covers safety, operation, and basic shot technique and shooting positions. This a good class for anyone who hasn’t fired a rifle or is new to shooting. You will receive an NRA Certificate of Completion. Please bring 50 rounds of lead ammo and your rifle. No jacketed or magnum ammunition is allowed in the indoor range. You cannot bring the rifle and or ammo into the classroom. The course will be limited to 20 students due to classroom size and number of firing points on the indoor range. The cost will be $15 for members and $20 for non members. NRA instructors can maintain their certification by helping with this clinic. Work hours can be earned by anyone who is interested in helping out coaching or setup.
