Greetings from the Range Director

April 17th, 2008

Hello to everyone - Welcome to all new members!

Well here is another season to get ready for.  It’s never too early to start practicing.  We have a real nice archery range.  It is not meant to compete against any of the local archery clubs.  It is just for members and their guests to practice and and warm up for the season.

The general archery range has a 12 ft. tower, room for 2 people.  The range are 10, 20, 30, and 40 yards; sand traps for broadheads.  The are some 3D targets also.  You can bring your own targets but please take them home when you leave.  PLEASE DO NOT USE BROADHEADS IN BALES OR 3D TARGETS!

We also have an 8 station walk-through range with 3D Rinehart targets.  To help defray the cost of these target we ask that you donate $1.00 for each person shooting.  The donation box is loacted at the beginning of the range.  At the entrance of the walk-through there is a flip sign, on one side is (range in use) and on the other (range clear).  The sign must be used upon entering and leaving the range.  For safety reasons we ask that there be only one person or one group at a time on the walk-through.

Common sense and courtesy for your fellow shooters will keep everyone safe .

Guest fee is the same on this range as well as with all the other ranges.  Take your guest to the clubhouse, sign them in, and put the fee in the envelope, and deposit it in the box.

I would like once again to remind everyone this is not a playground for your children or your guest, they are your responsibility.

HAVE A GREAT SEASON AND ENJOY YOUR CLUB!!!  BE SAFE!!!!

Thank you

Ed Lange
