Sponsoring new BRC Candidates

SPONSORS for new BRC candidates: know who you are sponsoring.Will the person you signed your name for be an asset to the club…???..Will the candidate actively participate in club responsibilities.????
When we limited membership to 300 we had far less work.Back then you could drive out to most rural areas and shoot… Not so anymore…Now with 750 members the club is much more complicated.Requiring more planning and work.
BRC is the “FINEST” multi-shooting facility in the mid-west.Be proud of it, participate and introduce a new member who will also.
As in most clubs 5% of the members do 90% of what it takes to have a place to shoot. After a few years these working members “BURN-OUT”… We need younger members to step up and keep the club going.
Will the Beloit Rifle Club always be there….????.. Alot of other ranges have gone by the wayside.Residential encroachment,Bullets gone astray,noise pollution,liability lawsuits,board member burn-out are a few reasons why.
